Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RigMate application and website (the "Service") operated by RigMate ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

2. The Service

RigMate is an RV and vehicle maintenance tracking application. The Service allows you to track maintenance schedules, log service history, monitor tire condition, store documents, plan trips, and receive reminders.

Important: The Service is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. Maintenance reminders, schedules, and recommendations are not a substitute for professional mechanical inspection or advice. RigMate does not provide professional automotive, mechanical, or safety advice. You are solely responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of your vehicle. Always consult a qualified mechanic or service professional for maintenance and safety decisions.

Route Planning & Bridge Clearance Data: RigMate's route planner, bridge clearance warnings, GPS navigation, and turn-by-turn directions are provided for trip-planning and informational purposes only. Bridge clearance data is sourced from the National Bridge Inventory maintained by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and other third-party sources. This data is approximate and may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Clearances may change at any time due to road resurfacing, construction, seasonal conditions, load postings, or data entry errors. RigMate does not independently verify bridge heights, road restrictions, weight limits, or any other physical characteristics of roadways. You must always obey posted signs, visually verify clearances before passing under any structure, and exercise your own judgment when operating your vehicle. RigMate does not guarantee safe passage on any route.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Free and Premium Plans

The Service offers a free tier with limited features and premium subscription plans with additional functionality. Premium features, pricing, and plan details are described on our Upgrade page.

Payment

Premium subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account Settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing from time to time. We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. If you do not agree with the new pricing, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all data and content you submit to the Service ("User Content"), including vehicle information, maintenance records, documents, and trip data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights. We do not claim ownership of your User Content and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, graphics, and branding, is owned by RigMate and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. "RigMate" and the RigMate logo are trademarks of RigMate. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described herein.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any maintenance schedules, reminders, recall information, or other data provided through the Service.

Vehicle maintenance and safety decisions are your sole responsibility. RigMate is a tracking and organizational tool. It does not inspect, diagnose, or repair vehicles. Failure to maintain your vehicle properly may result in damage, injury, or death, regardless of any reminders or information provided by the Service.

ROUTE PLANNING AND NAVIGATION DISCLAIMER: THE ROUTE PLANNER, BRIDGE CLEARANCE DATA, GPS NAVIGATION, AND TURN-BY-TURN DIRECTIONS ARE PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL AND TRIP-PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. BRIDGE CLEARANCE DATA IS SOURCED FROM THE NATIONAL BRIDGE INVENTORY (FHWA) AND OTHER THIRD-PARTY SOURCES AND IS APPROXIMATE. RIGMATE DOES NOT INDEPENDENTLY VERIFY BRIDGE HEIGHTS, ROAD RESTRICTIONS, WEIGHT LIMITS, OR ROAD CONDITIONS. CLEARANCE DATA MAY BE INACCURATE, OUTDATED, OR INCOMPLETE. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING ALL CLEARANCES, RESTRICTIONS, AND ROAD CONDITIONS BEFORE AND DURING TRAVEL. RIGMATE DOES NOT GUARANTEE SAFE PASSAGE ON ANY ROUTE AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY VEHICLE DAMAGE, PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR ANY OTHER LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON ROUTE PLANNING, BRIDGE CLEARANCE DATA, OR NAVIGATION FEATURES.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIGMATE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, VEHICLE DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RigMate and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. SMS Notifications

If you opt in to SMS notifications, you agree to receive text messages from RigMate regarding maintenance reminders, tire alerts, recall notifications, and service reminders. You can opt in and out at any time through your account Settings or by replying STOP to any message.

  • Message frequency varies based on your vehicles and maintenance schedules
  • Message and data rates may apply
  • Reply STOP to cancel SMS notifications at any time
  • Reply HELP for support information
  • SMS is not required to use the Service

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice.

Upon account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Any active subscription will be canceled and no refund will be issued for the remaining billing period.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice in the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. General

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RigMate regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.
